Fall Trends 2013

I felt the need to have a post about this years fall trends because they're just so simple and basic. Well, some of them are and then we go a bit off on other ones.

We'll start off with the fist row on this collage. I beanies are a must! I do believe I had posted a couple of outfits where I mentioned that they are a big part of this falls trends. It keeps you warm and when you're here doesn't look like you wish it did, it certainly helps out, a lot! Second is winter whites. You probably didn't think you would be using them around this time but hey, they look great and definitely bring a bit of shine into the background of autumn leaves.

Third on this row we have in representation of the leather trend a small strapless black leather dress. You can definitely play around with different colors of leather, not only wear dresses but also, jackets, pants, shirts, etc. Bring a bit of an edge into your outfit and your persona with a bit of leather which always looks amazing. Last on this row is a Houndstooth blazer. It's not just Houndstooth that's in trend but basically classic prints, all those that your mom used to rock in the 80's are absolutely the "it" thing this fall, so go take a look in your moms closet and see if you find anything interesting.

Now for a bit of color and well such a mysterious color, emerald. Emerald is a big color this fall. You can incorporate it into your outfits any way, wether it's an accessory, a jacket, pants, basically anything emerald is sure to bring your outfit to life. Knee high boots, a bit of Pretty Woman going on here. Well, not exactly this is way more fashionable and more pleasing to the eye. You can add your bit of leather by wearing leather boots and you check two things off your list.

One that was probably my favorite and one that would catch your eye on those cool fall nights is outwear and what's in trend right now is eye catching outwear. Throw on a coat with a great print and lots of color and you're ready to go, but remember to tone down the rest of your outfit. You want your outerwear to stand out and the rest to compliment it. Last is a basic that we sometimes love and sometimes hate, the turtle neck. Play around with it, throw some color into your outfits and keep warm!

Fall isn't over yet, you still have time to get on the bandwagon. Maybe you have something in your closet and you never even knew it!

What's your favorite fall trend item?
