I have missed you and this baby for so long. Since I've moved back to Chicago everything has been a little bit more hectic. I must say I will take advantage of this time that I have right now and share with you what I love to do.
I decided to go for a casually-chic outfit today. Something that you can throw on any day of the week and feel comfortable and fabulous in. Obviously something to go perfectly with this amazing fall season.
I would say that the statement piece in this outfit would definitely be the cable knit crop sweater. I chose this wine color because I LOVE it! I love wine on everything. I feel like it's a great color for fall and it definitely looks amazing on anyone. Threw on some black leggings and some pointed toe booties. I'm still not over my obsession with ankle boots.
As far as accessories go I wanted to keep that at a minimum, as I always do. A couple of gold rings to add some shimmer and shine to the outfit. Of course a hat! I think hats like this one are great for fall, they keep you a bit warm and make you look great and more interesting and add a little something extra to your outfit.
What are your thoughts on this outfit? Where would you wear this to? I would love to hear from you! See you on the next post!
Hey guys! It was about time that I got back with a new outfit to show you. I've come to realize that I have a slight obsession for this summer. This obsession is, pineapples. I have gone mad for pineapples. I think this is my favorite print for the summer.
It was no surprise that I would obviously incorporate this pineapple obsession of mine into the outfit. I found this white shirt with a faded pineapple print that is definitely fresh for these hot summer days. I paired it up with a pair of bright yellow shorts. It livens up the outfit and gives it the freshness and brightness it needs. I wanted to put together a clean chic look so I added white accents to the outfit, the pointed-toe heels and the clutch. Gold accessories and mirrored sunglasses to complete the look.
Something like this is perfect for any summer day. Look amazing and stay fresh. What are your thoughts on this outfit? What would you want me to write about next? Can't wait to read your comments!
It's the middle of the week and the heat just keeps going higher. With the heat you want to wear something that will definitely keep you cool and make you feel great. There are great ways to look great with a few items.
Today I chose this playsuit. I really liked the pineapple print. I just thought it added a sort of playfulness to the outfit, plus who doesn't love pineapples on clothes, lol! It's fresh and clearly perfect for the warm weather. Some chunky black sandals to add more of a funk to the outfit. Last, I just added some accessories. This light brown clutch with the brass buckle and the green bangle bracelet.
What are your thoughts on this outfit? What do you love to wear when the heat is unbearable? Can't wait to read your comments!
Guys! I've been absent for a few days. I missed you! Since it's almost Friday I'm gonna go with a simple outfit just to be able to keep up and wait for the weekend.
This denim shirt dress is perfection. It's so chic and casual I can't even handle it! I paired it up with a some black sandals. They are so minimalistic it's insane. I wanted to to add simple accessories because I want this outfit to be as simple as can be. Something you can throw on to walk around town and look comfortable and fashionable. The accessories are gold with stones to add a bit more feminism to this. Add a huge black bag and you're ready to go.
Do you like simple outfits or do you like more intricately put together outfits? Let me know what you think with a comment! Can't wait to hear from you!
Following today's Summer Essentials post, I put together this outfit that incorporates some of the pieces that I had on my list.
I've always like the sailor outfits and the whole nautical theme so today I decided that I would put together and outfit based on this. First of all, let me talk about the hot pants shorts! They give off a wet shiny look that I just love. A simple white and blue striped lose shirt to give off a more relaxed look. I added some nude sandals because I didn't want to add too much blue. I wanted that to give some light to the outfit.
I kept the accessories simple as well. A nude pouch like bag with some tassels. To finish off the nautical theme I added this golden shell necklace which I thought was adorable.
I love the nautical style and theme. I feel like it's something that is going to be timeless. What are your thoughts on the nautical style? Can't wait to read your comments!
Hey everyone! Summer is just around the corner and sometimes you don't even know what to keep in your closet and what to hide away until fall. I'm always big on basics and essentials so today I'm going to share with you some of the essentials that I have for summer.
Something I wear continuously and is always a must, shorts and t-shirts. I wear this all the time! It can be traditional blue denim shorts, shorts with prints, colored shorts, any shorts. You can obviously mix and match shorts and tops all the time. You can wear tanks, t-shirts, blouses, button downs, basically anything. It's perfect for the hot weather.
The sundress is my second. You can never have enough of these. Have them in different colors, prints, lengths and styles. The dresses are always great because they are also a perfect way to keep fresh and it's also a great way to dress up and feel more feminine. Adding a pair of heels definitely kicks it up a notch.
Shoe wise I'm mostly about comfort during the summer just because there is always a festival to go to, the beach and basically just walking around just soaking up the sun. So, it's sandals all the way. Any kind of sandal, colors, straps, buckles. I love them all. I can wear them with the shorts and the dresses and basically with anything!
Last, sunglasses, always. I never ever go anywhere without sunglasses, specially in the summer. When it comes to bags, I hate carrying huge bags in the summer so I try to use saddle bags because they are so much more comfortable and still fashionable.
These are a few of my summer essentials. What things can you not be without during the summer? Can't wait to read your comments!
It's the middle of the week and it's a cloudy, rainy and chill day here in Chicago. It's a nice little change from the humid weather we were having.
I wanted to go for a completely casual outfit today. It's definitely more street style. Throwing in some runners to be way more comfortable. Remember that just because you wear runners doesn't mean you can't make them look great! A simple pair of jeans with cuffed bottoms. I liked this black silk satin top because I thought it would add some texture to the outfit. It kind of gives contrast to everything else that is on here. Since I'm making this an outfit to wear on a rainy cool day I threw in a long black cardigan to keep you a bit warm and just add more pieces to make the outfit more interesting.
Since the outfit looked a bit dull with all the black, I decided to add the bright blue beanie to give it more of a lively aspect. Just give it that boom of color. I really liked this outfit. I could walk downtown with an umbrella with this and look amazingly fashionable in the rain!
