I've been incorporating trends into outfits that I put together. In todays OOTD I have three trends going on. The first one is the black and white. Yes, black and white is going to be huge this spring and summer season so start thinking about your b&w outfits. Also this oversized coat in white with no collar. Collarless coats and jackets will be seen a lot during the upcoming season and this white one is especially amazing. Last the mint green purse. Add a bit of pastels to add some color. I love this outfit because it seems so classic and elegant. It's something so simple that looks amazing. Add simple hair and almost nothing of makeup and you're ready to head out.
Today I'm going for more of a classic look rather than an urban or street style. I've always been a huge fan of vintage fashion and style.
This outfit made me think a bit of the 60's. It's pretty clean and sophisticated and definitely minimalistic. The dress and coat are very neutral and have no designs or prints. I wanted this to be more of a simple look than an elaborated one. Since the outfit is very neutral I wanted to add a statement necklace to a add some shine and texture to it.
To make the outfit a bit more interesting I simply added these burgundy shoes. They add a bit of color but in a very subtle way. The bag is very simple and has a very sophisticated look, with it I added one last color to the outfit, emerald.
I love this outfit because it's simply sophisticated and simple. There are no elaborate things going on and you can feel very comfortable wearing it. This can work for work, lunch, a date or even a night out. It's perfect in its very own way.
Uniqlo dress, $49 / Albino brown coat / Burberry wide shoes / Coach handbag / Statement necklace, $125 / Coach vintage sunglasses
There's usually a day when all you feel like doing is cozying up at home and feel relaxed. Today the weather over here makes me feels like wearing a sweater to feel a bit more warm.
I'm a fan of Batman so why not throw in a Batman sweater into the outfit. Put it together with some dark wine/purple jeans to make that Batman logo stand out a bit, not only that but to also play along with a little color and not make your outfit too monochromatic. Add some ankle boots and a watch to bring the outfit all together.
And just in case you feel like heading out after a small marathon of Batman movies, add some shades to cover up from the sun!
Jumpers sweater, $19 / Current/Elliott purple jeans / H&M ankle booties, $39 / Coach rubber watch / Topshop oversized glasses
